Located in Omaha, Nebraska, our club members enjoy the fact we maintain one of the most prestigious radio controlled model aviation fields in the United States. In fact, the Omahawks® R/C Club is Omaha's premier radio controlled club and we are the largest AMA Chartered R/C club in the entire Midwest!

Flight Over Hawk Field

Watch this great video flight over hawk field. You are watching a Sony Digital Camera mounted to an electric radio controlled airplane. The video is transmitted back to a ground station where it can be viewed while in flight by spectators or the pilot. The video is recorded to the in-camera memory stick. If you have never flown radio controlled aircraft and have always wanted to get involved in this exciting and rewarding hobby, we offer free instructional lessons to Omahawks Members. Even if you do not currently own an airplane at this time, you can come out to our field and meet with our instructors and they will let you fly our club-owned airplanes to see if this hobby is right for you.
